Prior to attending our Ultimutt Academy, your pup will receive ONE complimentary Day Camp. Please book after confirmation of Academy enrollment.
We strongly recommend all new students to enroll in at least ONE Private Training session before attending our Academy Program.

  • Why is this important?

    Our Ultimutt Academy program is an in-boarding training that will teach the necessary fundamentals needed to be an all around Ultimutt Pup. In addition, it will lay the groundwork needed for any future advanced training and certifications.

    Pups will have a positive introduction to a pen and crate to ensure they see these places as a happy place to go for quiet and alone time. We will help establish enforceable rules for furniture as well as boundaries in your home and yard.

    Stop nuisance behaviors:

    At graduation, you can expect a happy, obedient Ultimutt Pup! We will provide helpful training tips and hands-on support throughout your program.

  • Requirements

    Your pup must:

    • Get along with other dogs

    • FULLY vaccinated


    • Free from any illnesses, fleas


    • In good grooming status 


    • No resource guarding or food aggressive

    • Must be able to share water bowls and fallen treats
      *If you’re not sure how your dog would react, please inquire about a temperament test.

    In order for your pup to succeed in training, we require the following:

    • For dogs 6 months – 11 months: 2 week minimum in-boarding

    • For dogs 12 months and older: 3 week minimum in-boarding 

    • For dogs who are toy or small breeds: 3 week minimum in-boarding

    *Additional weeks may be needed based on anxiety, nervousness and reactivity needs – on a case-by-case basis. 

    **Additional weeks can be added at a discounted rate and must be booked upfront.

    The following are state and local pet boarding vaccination requirements:

    • DPP (Distemper, Parvovirus & Parainfluenza) 1 or 3-yr. vaccine required

    • Bordetella at least 48 hours prior required to check-in to ensure maximum efficiency and protection against Kennel Cough.

    • Rabies 1 or 3-yr. vaccine required (must be correct dates on documents)

    • Flea prevention required

    • Negative Result Fecal Testing within 6 Months

  • What to Bring

    • Enough food for your pup in gallon ziplock bag for their ENTIRE stay (factor in more cups for extra activities)

    • Supplements and/or medication if needed.

      *Due to limited spacing, please do not bring anything else other than listed above.

  • Other Important Details

    Appointment Time:

    We ask that you please arrive on time and only during your scheduled time slot. There are multiple pups arriving during different times, please be courteous of your arrival time.

    Late Fee:

    A $15 late fee will apply after 10+ minutes of previously scheduled time slot.

    We understand that emergencies happen and we will do our best to accommodate your needs, so please let us know in advance if you need to adjust your scheduled time slot.

CANCELATION POLICY

We understand emergencies and life happens and we do our best to accommodate within reason.

  1. After the first cancellation, we require a $50 non-refundable deposit to re-book.

2. After a second cancellation, we require a non-refundable FULL payment to re-book.

3. After a third cancellation, unfortunately we will no longer allow future bookings.

*This cancellation policy is not applicable to pre-school and academy booking.
